Ecko
Ecko was found on the streets of Dallas with his mom and 7 siblings. Rescued by a good Samaritan and taken to a Border Collie rescue group, he began his search for a new home. With his irresistible picture posted on the internet, he charmed his future owners and thus began an eight hour round trip journey to bring him home.
Ecko, as most Border Collies, is very eager to learn and work. However, he is extremely shy being fearful of strangers and new things. He has made a lot of progress so far but it is a lifelong process that Andrea and Ecko are taking together.
He is continually learning and adding new tricks to his repertoire such as wave, bow, spin, play dead and others. Though he loves training, his favorite thing in the world is playing with his Frisbees.
Zipper (aka Zip Zip)
Zipper is the newest addition to the family. She stumbled out in front of Andrea’s car at the age of three weeks. She was starving, malnourished, covered with fleas, and infested with intestinal parasites. After being fed with the bottle for about a week she started to get her strength back and her kitten playfulness came out. After some training with Ecko and Zipper to make sure they would get along, she was welcomed as a member of the family. Currently she serves as the center of attention for our photography hobby, and soon will begin training and learning tricks along with Ecko.
