Lodge and Learn is a great program which allows owners more flexibility in their schedule. If you are too busy to train or are leaving for vacation this is a great option for you. Your dog will lodge at Rover Oaks Pet Resort (Houston location) where I will teach them basic manners in a fun and positive environment. It’s all of the work done for you.
Details:
The Lodge and Learn program comes with a goal-setting meeting prior to your dog’s arrival where we will meet and discuss training goals for your dog. After your pets training time with me is over, we will meet for an hour long session so that you can see what your pet has learned. At this time we will also discuss how to continue your pets training progress. After the initial meeting you will have further follow-up lessons based on the length of your Lodge and Learn.
Length of Stay:
1 Week: This option is recommended as a refresher course for those dogs that have had previous training through classes or private lessons.
2 Week: This option is a great starting point in building your dogs basic manners. Your dog will learn behaviors such as sit, down, loose leash walking and more.
3 Week/4 Week: In addition to basic manners, with this option we can begin to address other behavioral concerns . We still teach the basics as in a two week Lodge and Learn but can begin to deal with more specific issues. There are particular issues that are specific to home context but we can discuss your training goals in more detail.
